1. Who you're agreeing with
"Futurly", "we", "us" refers to Futurly Group. "You" means anyone who uses the website or assessment. By using the service, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What the service is
Futurly is an AI-assisted self-reflection tool. You answer a short assessment about your work, values, and openness to change, and we generate a personalised analysis describing how AI may affect your role and what pivot directions could fit you.
3. The big disclaimer — read this
The Futurly assessment is for reflection and exploration, not professional advice. It is not:
- career counselling, coaching, or psychological assessment
- financial, investment, or business advice
- legal, medical, or tax advice
- a guarantee of any future income, employment, or outcome
The analysis is generated by a large language model based on the limited information you share. It can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. Treat it as a starting point for your own thinking — not a decision. Important career, financial, or life decisions should involve qualified professionals who know your full situation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service in a way that violates any law
- submit content you don't have the right to share, including someone else's CV without their consent
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service
- circumvent rate limits, abuse the API, or attempt to extract our prompts or model outputs at scale
- use the service to generate content that is illegal, harassing, deceptive, or harmful
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation, with or without notice.
5. Your content, your rights
You keep ownership of everything you submit (your assessment answers, your CV, etc.). By submitting it, you give us a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of generating your assessment result and operating the service. We do not claim any ownership of your inputs and we do not use them to train AI models.
6. Our content
The website, the assessment design, our prompts, brand, and the layout/visual design are owned by Futurly. The personalised analysis we generate for you is yours to use however you like — share it, paste it into a journal, ignore it, whatever helps.
7. Accounts
You can use the assessment without an account. If you create one, keep your login credentials safe — you're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Pricing & payments
The basic assessment is free. Paid plans, if any, are described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. All prices include VAT where applicable. EU consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from purchases within 14 days, except where you have explicitly consented to immediate digital delivery and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is lost upon delivery.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the analysis will be accurate, useful, or suitable for any particular purpose. We don't warrant the availability of any third-party AI provider we depend on.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Futurly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service — including any decisions you make based on the analysis. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under EU consumer protection law (such as for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).
11. Third-party services
The AI analysis is generated using Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's terms and acceptable-use policy apply to that part of the processing. We are not responsible for outages, latency, or output of third-party providers.
12. Termination
You can stop using the service any time and delete your account from the dashboard or by emailing privacy@futurlyapp.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or where required by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with applicable European Union law. Where you are an EU consumer, you retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence — these Terms do not override those rights.
If you have a dispute with us, please contact hello@futurlyapp.com first; we'll do our best to resolve it informally. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
